Wit Number 3 signing on...

Hello all! This is Kitt, Wit Number 3, mostly in charge of gamer gear and occasional minion duty. And corsets. And... you get the idea. I was at PhilCon on Fri night and have to say I was disappointed with the crowd there. More disappointed with the people in charge screwing head wits over. Grumble grumble. (However, I was impressed with the art room; it was much better than the last year. Sadly, I forgot to register in time AGAIN. Next year for sure!) I think the problem is that a sci-fi con is attended mostly by older folks who have too much common sense about spending money on frivolous things.

I did get some new dice from our friends at another booth. I'm upgrading from solely acrylic dice to some semi-precious ones. I'm going to start with steel and see how it goes. If they sell well, I may venture into the more sparkly semi-precious stones. I will have to amp up prices considerably, however, as I will be spending a LOT more to buy the dice.

If I ever have time off from homework art, I will get cracking on some corsets. There is one for sale right now, and it feels sad and lonely. Also, I will finally be putting some art prints up in January/February. Seeing as how illustration is my major... I have several portraits of female metal singers, but I don't know if that fits with the theme of The Five Wits. *scratches head* Ruth, do we have a theme? ;) Metal heads are invariably geeks as well, so who knows? Maybe they'll go for it.
